Jeff Kirkpatrick

Jeff Kirkpatrick recently retired as Director of Bands at Osage High School, completing a 41-year teaching career, including 39 years at Osage. The Osage High School Concert Band has a long tradition of excellence, earning Division I ratings at State Large Group Contest every year since 1956. He served on the original steering committee for the Cedar River Complex and later as design chair for the auditorium. He continues to support the facility as a technical advisor and trains local high school students to operate technical equipment for school productions and auditorium events. Mr. Kirkpatrick also serves as technical advisor for Cedar Summerstock, working with the audio team and helping solve technical challenges throughout the season. Jeff and his wife, Laurie Hoeppner — Director of High School Choir and 5th- and 6th-grade Bands in Osage — are celebrating 31 years of marriage. They enjoy spending time with their two beagles, Hank and Leo. They are also excited to have Laurie’s niece, Emily, as part of this summer’s CST cast.
