Nickie Kromminga Hill

Nickie Kromminga Hill is thrilled to return for her fifth summer with Cedar Summerstock Theatre as the director of Grease. Previous CST credits include co-directing and choreographing The Buddy Holly Story and choreographing Matilda, The Wizard of Oz, and School of Rock. Nickie earned her BA in Theatre & Dance from Gustavus Adolphus College and her K–12 Theatre and Dance licensure from Hamline University. She is also proud to serve on the Musical Theatre faculty at Shell Lake Arts Center in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Based in Minneapolis, Nickie is endlessly grateful for the students, artists, family, and friends who continue to make theatre such a joyful and meaningful part of her life. She would also like to give a special shout-out to Halle Audette, choreographer for Grease — a former middle school student who has become a dear friend and collaborator — for bringing so much heart, talent, and joy to this production.
